Episode Sponsor – NeuroReserve
Many of the Happy Healthy Caregiver listeners and guests in the caregiver spotlight episodes care for family and chosen family with Alzheimer’s or other cognitive impairments. My own family has been impacted – my mom had cognitive impairment in her last year of life and my aunt had frontal temporal dementia. Many family caregivers worry about poor brain health being hereditary. I like to mitigate my worry by taking action. I’ve learned that our brain health doesn’t have to follow the same fate as those we have cared for. I am doing what I can to improve the health of my brain, including eating a better diet and exercising. I’ve also learned that when it comes to nutrition, most people are living with undernourished brains and need something to fill in those nutritional gaps. This led me to NeuroReserve and their product, RELEVATE. RELEVATE is a nutritional supplement that restores the vital nutrients for a healthy aging brain. RELEVATE includes 17 of the most important nutrients that specifically target long term brain health. These nutrients come from the Mediterranean and MIND Diets, which studies have discovered can reduce our risk of Alzheimer’s by over 50%. You can use my code HAPPYHEALTHY for 15% off of your order. This code is good for individual orders and subscriptions. Go to NeuroReserve.com to purchase. NeuroReserve’s goal is to help our brainspan match our lifespan.
