While recently on the phone with my daughter, Natalie, she shared with me that the biggest reason she was upset about working on her birthday this year was that she would be missing out on all of her birthday freebies. Now as ridiculous as that may sound, we are huge deal-finders in my family so missing out on something that’s free, especially if it’s free on your birthday, is unacceptable! Treating yourself to birthday freebies is the highest form of self care and makes aging well even a little bit sweeter.
There are plenty of amazing birthday deals that are available. Here are the few dozen that stuck out to me the most.
Rewards You Can Only Redeem On Your Birthday
Starbucks
One of my favorite birthday freebies is a Starbucks drink. To get your free birthday beverage, you need to make sure you have the Starbucks app and that you’re a rewards member at least 7 days before your birthday. Make sure that you have your birthday info in the app correctly and that you’ve at least made one transaction on the app that earns you stars prior to your birthday. Let the barista know it’s your birthday and they will have you scan your app at the register to give you your free birthday treat. Make sure to take advantage of this reward and get the largest size available and add on any customizations that you want, but remember to not go too crazy because they normally have a $20 limit on the birthday reward.
Moe’s Southwest Grill
Whether you’re a Moes or Chipotle fan, you can’t pass on this awesome birthday deal! Moe’s Southwest Grill offers its rewards members a free burrito on their birthday. The only catch is that you have to be a Moe’s Rewards member a month in advance to receive the birthday burrito offer in the same year. BUT, on the bright side, when you download the rewards app, you get a free cup of Moe’s Queso right away.

One of my personal guilty pleasures are the Auntie Anne’s Pretzels in our local mall.
