21 for 2021 – Sprinkle some FUN into your 21!

This post is sponsored by Depend® Brand. All opinions and statements are my own.

I want to share a FUN annual activity my family and I have been doing for the past three years. The name changes slightly every year but the concept is the same. It’s called ‘21 for 2021′ and it’s essentially where you capture 21 FUN intentions for the year.

I first heard about this idea on one of my favorite podcasts and I’ve adopted it and been encouraging my family and Happy Healthy Caregiver community to join in on the FUN. I even created a fresh new FUNsheet for you to use!

Resolutions and goals can be heavy but this activity is all about whatever your definition of FUN is.

More Fun in 2021

Steps to Create your list of 21 for 2021

  1. Download the FUNsheet by entering your information at the bottom of this page.
  2. Write down 21 things that you want to do, try, have, achieve, be, or go to at some point in 2021.
  3. Post it where you can see it. Here’s some options: your desk, fridge, walk-in closet wall, or bathroom mirror. You could also add it as your computer desktop’s wallpaper.
  4. Optional: Share it socially for even more accountability and use the hashtag #21for2021 and tag Happy Healthy Caregiver on Instagram.

To offer you some ideas, here’s the list I created for 2020. I show you mine to gain your support and give you ideas! Some of these came from the ‘50 before 50′ bucket list I created a few years back. By the way, 2021 is my LAST year to complete this bucket list.

Some ideas I’m pondering for 2021

  • Level up my Happy Healthy Caregiver partnership with Depend! I’m working with the team to get the word out about their Incontinence Community Facebook Group and the other events they have to support family caregivers. Like I said earlier, we all have different ideas of FUN and working on my business is FUN for me.
  • Hot Air Balloon Ride! This one is likely going to happen. Jason’s dad and stepmom gave him a gift certificate as a 50th birthday present. I’m nervous and excited!
  • Celebrate our 25th silver wedding anniversary somewhere completely new (with Jason, of course!). While we’d love to go somewhere international, we don’t know where this pandemic is going to be come April 27th. So ‘new’ could be a local restaurant, a US destination, or maybe we will get to go afar!
  • Create a Little Free Library in memory of my mom (who was a writer, avid reader, and collector of first edition books). We’ve got the spot picked out right next to dad’s memorial flagpole at the North End Park in Hubbard Lake, Michigan.
  • Celebrate my 50th birthday with my girlfriends at Hubbard Lake. Michigan is not an easy place to get to when you live in Georgia. My girlfriends are tired of hearing me talk about it and they want to experience it. We’re making the trek in 2021!

More ideas to come! I’ll share my list with you once it’s complete.

A FUN family tradition these past few years has been that my family finalizes and shares their list on New Year’s Eve day. We go someplace yummy for lunch and do a big reveal. I have a few more weeks to finalize my list.
